Oscar 2020

Finally! Finally the nominations for the Oscar 2020, the most prestigious of awards. I’m very happy to have reviewed for you the majority of the films selected this year.   

Netflix takes the lead at the Oscar 2020

 

Netflix takes the lead this year with 24 nominations : The Irishman, Marriage Story, Klaus,  Les Deux papes, The Edge of Democracy & American Factory (produced by the Obama’s society, Higher Ground Productions),  & J’ai perdu mon corps.. Ad Astra has been forgotten, as week as  The Farewell, a beautiful movie on the relationships between a grand mother and her daughter. Women are forgotten as well. Les Misérables has been selected. Who will win ? Answer February 9th,  2020, on Canal +, & in the US on  ABC Television Network. The films and all their team nominated to the Oscar in 1929 are:

I choose Scarlett Johansson in MARRIAGE STORY, but I think that Renée Zelleweger  will win this year

I choose Joaquin Phoenix but  Adam Driver is great in Marriage Story & Antonio Banderas…Well, the choice is difficult 

 

It is a surprise that Al Pacino & Brad Pitt are nominated in such category…. I choose Brad Pitt but Joe Pesci is also extraordinary in The Irishman.

Even if the score of Joker by Hildur Guðnadóttir is amazing, I choose John Williams at his best in Star Wars.
