In this new season, Jake Adelstein (Ansel Elgort), the young American reporter continues to cover local criminal affairs for his newspaper. Samantha, the former hostess, has opened her own club. 

But Jake realizes that his life, and those of those around him, are in great danger.

Indeed, the balance between the police, the press, and the yakuza is threatened to tip: criminals of a new caliber are emerging, and a new deputy commissioner decides to resort to strong methods, far from the philosophy of Hiroto Katagiri (Ken Watanabe).

In December 1776, Franklin is world-famous for his electrical experiments, but his passion and power are put to the test when – as the fate of American independence hangs in the balance – he embarks on a secret mission to France.

 

Sugar : Colin Farrell as a private detective, now.

The program is brought to the screen by Mark Protosevich, the screenwriter of “I Am Legend” and the remake of “Old Boy” by Spike Lee. Directing the eight episodes is Brazilian Fernando Meirelles (The Two Popes, City of God).

A police investigation and a gripping story under the sun of Los Angeles, that’s what the series “Sugar” offers.

The granddaughter of a famous Hollywood producer has mysteriously disappeared and it’s John Sugar, a private detective portrayed by Colin Farrell, who is tasked with the investigation. But his inquiries will uncover family secrets hidden for years.

Alongside the Irish actor, we notably find Amy Ryan (The Wire), James Cromwell (Succession), and Anna Gunn (Breaking Bad), under the direction of Mark Protosevich (Invasion).

After the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln on April 14, 1865, just days before the end of the Civil War, his Secretary of War and friend, Edwin Stanton, begins the hunt to find Lincoln’s assassin, John Wilkes Booth.

For two weeks, Booth eluded the police with the complicity of Confederate sympathizers, while the United States government plunged into crisis.

“In This Life or Another”, now, a must-see.

Adapted from Manuel Jabois’ novel and directed by Jorge Sánchez-Cabezudo, is set to make an impact. This Spanish series, starring Pol López, Tamara Casellas, and Quim Àvila, delves into the backstage of one of the darkest events in recent European history.

The story focuses on Gabriel Montoya Vidal, nicknamed “Baby,” a teenager involved in the jihadist attacks of March 11, 2004, in Madrid.

Only 16 years old at the time, Baby played a crucial role in transporting the explosives used in this tragedy.

His involvement and trial in 2007, where he became the first convicted defendant, raise complex questions about influence, guilt, and redemption.

John Blackthorne, a daring English sailor, shipwrecks in Japan, a country whose culture he knows nothing about. On the other hand, Lord Toranaga is a cunning and powerful daimyo.

However, he is in conflict with his own dangerous political rivals. As for Lady Mariko, she is a woman with invaluable skills but with dishonorable family ties, who must prove her worth and allegiance.
