The filmmakers celebrated in this competition seem to be driven by a common force: RESISTANCE.
AMERICAN FEATURE FILM COMPETITION:
This year, the selected American feature films embody the spirit of an America seeking balance in a chaotic world. They cling to the nostalgia of the 90s with its pop culture, the expansion of the internet, and communication tools, while exploring the quest for a unique community as the foundation of a new society.

FEATURE FILM JURY AWARDS
The Feature Film Jury, chaired by director and screenwriter Rebecca Zlotowski, along with actress, singer, and director Alma Jodorowsky, filmmaker and screenwriter Jimmy Laporal-Trésor, producer Marie-Ange Luciani, and director Nicolas Peduzzi, awarded the following prizes:
The Grand Jury Prize for Best American Independent Feature to Good One by India Donaldson. A grant of €11,000 from Banque Transatlantique was awarded to the director to aid in the development of her next feature film.
The Grand Jury Prize for Best French Independent Feature to Diaries from Lebanon by Myriam El Hajj. A grant of €11,000 from Banque Transatlantique was awarded to the director to aid in the development of her next feature film.
The Jury Prize for Best American Direction to Nathan Silver for his film Between the Temples. A grant of €2,500 from the festival was awarded to the director.
The Jury Prize for Best French Direction to Caroline Poggi and Jonathan Vinel for their film Eat the Night. A grant of €2,500 from the festival was awarded to the directors.
SHORT FORM JURY AWARDS
The Short Form Jury, chaired by director, screenwriter, and actor Jean-Baptiste Durand, along with actress and director Emilie Brisavoine, artist and actress Park Ji-Min, director, actor, and stage director Nans Laborde-Jourdàa, and author and director Ovidie, awarded the following prizes:
The Grand Jury Prize for Best American Independent Short to Merman by Sterling Hampton. A grant of €2,500 from Banque Transatlantique was awarded to the director.
The Grand Jury Prize for Best French Independent Short to Les liens du sang by Hakim Atoui. A grant of €2,500 from Banque Transatlantique was awarded to the director.
A Special Mention was awarded to Corps tannés by Malou Six.
The Grand Jury Prize for Best Independent Medium-Length Film (tied) to Reset by Souliman Schelfout and Incident by Bill Morrison. A grant of €3,000 from the festival was awarded to the directors.
PRESS JURY AWARDS
The Press Jury, composed of journalists Esther Brejon, Arthur Cios, Olivia Cooper-Hadjian, and Laura Pertuy, awarded the following prizes:
The Critics’ Prize for Best American Independent Feature to Between the Temples by Nathan Silver.

FRENCH FEATURE FILM COMPETITION
SYNOPSIS For the past 3 years, La Flèche d’Or, a community and cultural space in the 20th arrondissement of Paris, has been offering performances and solidarity activities.
Each month, artists from the Habibi Evenings perform drag shows with a cinema theme. Habibi, Song for My Friendsfollows the preparation of the last cabaret of the season.
From costume making to collective rehearsals, the film portrays five drag artists and how their commitment resonates with that of La Flèche d’Or. Both the troupe and the volunteers are driven by the question of welcome and community. Until the grand finale, an engaged, festive, and convivial drag show.
