ALL YOU WANT TO KNOW ABOUT FILMS & SERIES
“Bridgerton”, Shonda Rhimes, Part 1, now.
REVIEW BY JUDITH !
The Bridgerton Chronicles are back!
It’s the turn of the most important character in the series to be in the spotlight: Penelope Featherington played by Nicola Coughlan.
Although the character remains an eternal romantic, her spotlight is enjoyable and well-developed.
Furthermore, as usual and more so in this season than before, female friendships are central and complex.
These first four episodes also provide an opportunity to further develop some key characters, with talented actors, even though for now it may leave some wanting more.
As for the sex scenes, although one might sometimes question their utility, there are fewer than before, and that’s appreciated.
What will the second part bring? Streaming now on Netflix. Part II, on June 13th
