Enfin ! Enfin les nominations aux Oscars 2020, la plus prestigieuse des récompenses. Comme on n’est jamais mieux servie que par soi-même, je m’auto-congratule : je suis heureuse d’avoir vu et chroniqué sur ce blog pour vous la majorité des films sélectionnés cette année. 

Netflix en tête

 

Netflix arrive en tête cette année avec 24 nominations aux Oscars (pas mal pour une plateforme dédiée à la pizza #EdouardBaer 🙂 ): The Irishman, Marriage Story, Klaus,  Les Deux papes, The Edge of Democracy et American Factory (produit par le couple Obama et leur société de production Higher Ground Productions),  et J’ai perdu mon corps dans la catégorie film d’animation, qui a séduit la célèbre société de production.

Ad Astra est oublié,  film extraordinaire, ainsi que L’Adieu, très beau film sur les liens entre une grand-mère et sa petite fille. Les femmes sont oubliées : pas de réalisatrice nominée cette année..mais le problème est-ce le fait qu’aucune ne soit sélectionnée ou qu’il n’y en a pas assez ? Les deux mon Général !

En France, Les Misérables est sélectionné, pas mal pour un premier film ! Le suspense est ouvert.

Qui aura le plus influencé l’Académie cette année ? Réponse le le 9 février 2020, en France sur Canal +,  et aux États-Unis sur ABC Television Network. Les films et leurs équipes nominés à la fameuse récompense créée en 1929 sont:

Je vote pour Scarlett Johansson dans MARRIAGE STORY, n’ayant pas vu JUDY,
et je pense que Renée Zelleweger gagnera cette année l’Oscar de la meilleure actrice,
ce film incarnant à lui seul toute l’histoire du cinéma américain.

Je vote pour Joaquin Phoenix bien qu’à mon avis il soit ex-aequo avec Adam Driver dans Marriage Story et qu’Antonio Banderas…Bon, le choix est difficile.

reste un mystère. Il est évident qu’ils n’en sont pas.

Je vote donc pour Brad Pitt mais Joe Pesci est également extraordinaire dans The Irishman.

  1. Les français sont plutôt bien placés dans les catégories secondaires. Par contre, j’ai peur que les Misérables ne fassent pas le poids contre Parasite.
    Triste pour Ad Astra : peu de nominations, des rentrées salles trop peu conséquentes, tout ceci ne va pas encourager le financement de ce type de projets artistiques et ambitieux.

    1. En effet, Les Misérables ont peu de chance mais c’est déjà super qu’il soit nominé au milieu de si grands films.
      Pour Ad Astra, cela ne change rien aux motivations d’un réalisateur, ce film c’est un chef d’oeuvre et le parti pris commercial n’a jamais rien empêché.
      Mais c’était un de mes films préférés cette année et oui c’est vraiment dommage.
